Obi Wan Kenobi Costumes

When Halloween comes around, Star Wars costumes are popular with children and adults. Obi Wan Kenobi is one of the primary characters in the films, a Jedi knight who plays a vital part in the beginnings of Darth Vader and his son, Luke Skywalker.

Episode IV has Obi Wan Kenobi living as a hermit on Tatooine, coming across the young Luke Skywalker when his uncle’s droids take off into the desert. He takes the boy under his wing, teaching him the ways of the force as they head to rendezvous with the rebels and deliver the plans for the Death Star on the Millenium Falcon. Obi Wan is forced to leave Luke when he duels with Darth Vader on the Death Star, but remains a guiding voice throughout the rest of Luke’s experiences, especially as he makes the vital shot that brings the empire’s plans to a halt. In an Obi Wan Kenobi costume, you’ll feel the guiding force of your Halloween party making it a good costume for party host, fathers and kids who like to be leaders.

Episode V has Luke in the Dagobah system, training under Yoda, another Jedi master. Obi Wan is still present in Luke’s life, appearing as a ghostly form and lending a word of wisdom as needed. Episode VI sees Obi Wan reunited with Yoda and his past apprentice, Anakin Skywalker after Luke has helped his father turn away from the dark side before he dies.

Obi Wan comes out full force in Episode I, where he is an apprentice to Qui-Gon Jinn. They discover the young Anakin, whom Obi Wan takes as his own apprentice after defeating a Sith Lord. Episode II and III see Obi Wan struggling to control his pupil, who is showing great promise but also signs of his future as Darth Vader. Obi Wan played an important part in the Clone Wars, helping Yoda and the Jedi Council, but soon his pupil’s betrayal in the final film brings him to exile.

Children and adults can now walk out onto the streets at Halloween in an Obi Wan Kenobi costume. The men’s costume comes with the Jedi robe in light brown, white armor. The pants are black that transition into white “boots.” With a blue light saber, the look is complete. The boy’s costume comes in two varieties, with one identical to the adult’s featuring a face mask. The second variety has a traditional Jedi robe, belt and pants that come down into brown “boots.”

The deluxe Obi Wan Kenobi costume also comes with a belt that has a pouch on the side. This makes Halloween night even more fun as they head out ready to take on the Empire, light saber in hand. Star Wars costumes are the perfect way to spend a spooky night trick or treating or at a friend’s costume party. You will stand out in the crowd, weapon in hand, ready to make the night a memorable one.
