There are a lot of fun Star Wars costumes to dress up in. If you are looking to go the frightening route, you’ll definitely want to dress up as one of the antagonists from Star Wars. A lot of people choose to wear Darth Vader costumes, and while Darth Vader is great, he’s starting to get a little played out. If you are looking for more original Star Wars costumes you might want to consider Jango Fett costumes as a viable option.
Jango Fett first shows up in “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.” As a skilled bounty hunter, mercenary and assassin, Jango Fett represents a great threat. Jango Fett is born human, but eventually is adopted by the Mandalorian warriors. He is a great leader in the Mandalorian Civil War, killing six Jedi while weaponless. Though impressive, this last stand is not enough to ensure a victory. Jango is captured by the Death Watch and sold into slavery. He does not break free until pirates invade his ship, causing chaos among the slave masters.
Once free, Jango Fett decides to return for his armor, which had been previously stripped from him by the Death Watch. The Jango Fett Halloween costume is based on Jango Fett’s armor and resembles the clone trooper uniform. He exacts revenge on Tor Vizsla, the leader of the Mandalorian splinter faction from the Civil War. Once the Civil War is over, Fett decides to use his skills as a bounty hunter. He pursues such criminals as Meeko Ghinti, Bendix Fust and Jervis Gloom. Fett later decides to partner up with shape-shifter Zam Wesell. After Wesell botches two assassinations, Fett is forced to kill her so that she won’t lead the Jedi to Kamino.
Because of his accomplishments, Jango Fett is chosen as the genetic template for the Grand Army of the Republic. In addition to donating his genes, Fett assists with the effort by designing the armor for the clones and creating a flash training regiment in order to train the clones in the ways of battle. Despite his efforts at keeping the Jedi away from Kamino, Obi-wan Kenobi manages to locate Jango and his son Boba. Fett flees to join the Sith Lord Count Dooku, but is ultimately decapitated by the Jedi Mace Windu. Jango Fett lives on after his death, for his clones have a huge impact on the entire galaxy.
One of the cool things about wearing Jango Fett Halloween costumes is that you can get a bunch of people to dress up like Fett’s clones. This will make for a memorable group of trick-or-treaters or party goers. With enough participants, you can form an impressive clone army on Halloween night. Adults and kids can both dress up in tailor-made Jango Fett costumes. Each costume has a blue and silver jumpsuit with a matching mask. The costume also includes gloves, a belt and body armor to keep your protected from the Jedi. Add a blaster and a double holster so that you can be a great bounty hunter. A slick Jango Fett costume will make this Halloween a night to remember.
